Auf die Hände küsst die Achtung,
Freundschaft auf die offne Stirne,
Auf die Wange Wohlgefallen,
Selge Liebe auf den Mund;
Aufs geschlossne Aug die Sehnsucht,
In die hohle Hand Verlangen,
Arm und Nacken die Begierde,
Überall sonst hin Raserei.

My translastion:

Kiss (Of Frank Grillparzer)

On the hands kisses the esteem,
Friendship on the open forehead,
On the cheek the pleasure,
Blissful love on the mouth;
On closed eyes the longing,
In the hollow of a hand craving,
Arm and neck the desire,
On any other spot frenzy.
